At RMC 2025, key questions for suppliers and brands, investors and policymakers will be addressed:
How can the chemical industry be defossilised while remaining competitive? How can the demand for fossil-free plastics be met? How can sustainable carbon cycles be created? And what role will biodegradation play in the circular economy?
On 24 September, the focus will be on concepts and policies for sustainable carbon cycles and the role of biodegradation in the circular economy. Katrin Schwede will speak on the topic: “Making Compostability Work: Aligning Biodegradable and Compostable Plastics with EU Policy Goals.”
