The event “Circular Plastic Economy – From Vision to Implementation”, organized by kunststoffland NRW, will take place on March 17, 2025, at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment, and Energy (Wuppertal Institut für Klima, Umwelt, Energie gGmbH). The aim of the event is to develop constructive solutions for implementing a functioning circular economy through workshops. These solutions will not only address the industry itself but will also serve as a basis for policy recommendations yet to be formulated.
In Workshop 1: “From Petroleum to Recyclate – What Do Plastic Producers Need to Transition to a Sustainable Raw Material Base?”, discussions will include the use of bioplastics and waste as sustainable raw materials for plastic production.
